Hi,

I founded the Chippenham Boardgames Club last October and we now have 18 members, of which normally 10-14 attend regularly, but not always the same ones. By registering for this website I hope to attract new members to the club, and make it grow. I am keen to encourage families to join us.

I already have some experienced gamers in the club, including Tony Simons , who won the draw at the recent EXPO 2009. Whilst leaving the 'heavier' games to these experts I personally concentrate on encouraging the newer members to embrace this hobby by playing the simpler introductory games, so we have something to offer all tastes, and a vast library of over 1,000 games to call upon.

We meet on THURSDAY evenings, 7.00-11.00 p.m. at the SIR AUDLEY ARMS, Audley Road, Chippenham . Membership of the club is FREE !!....FREE....FREE !!!

Please send me an e-mail if you want more details, or better still just pop along on any Thursday evening and introduce yourself.

Best Regards

Mike Oakes

Hi, all.

I live in between Chippenham and Bath in Wiltshire. I want to start using bio in my 300tdi Disco, but cant find an outlet close enough to make it worthwhile.

Does anyone know of anywhere close to my are, that sells bio?

Cheers,

Chris.

Hi, all.

After finding-out that my local Morrisons Chippenham, Wiltshire isnt stocking B30 for now, Im trying to work-out an alternative, without making my own.

I think the best I can aim for is 50/50 bio/standard diesel, due to potential starting problems in the Winter.

I have a 1996 Disco 1 300tdi, can anyone tell me what the highest blend is, that I can use, without modifying my vehicle? Ive read that some hoses may need to be changed on some vehicles possibly before 1995, and replaced with synthetic hoses.

I also read that I will need to change my fuel filter after the first or second tank, of bio happy with this.

Any advice and stockists appreciated.

Cheers,

Chris.
